The Palace Drum Clinic (PDC) was born from the popular UK National Drum Fair (NDF) which ran from 2002-2015. After 14 annual, high profile industry-led Drum Fair events, the NDF decided to continue to offer an education programme for the Midlands drumming community.
As a result, the Palace Drum Clinic was launched in May 2017 at the Palace Theatre, Redditch. Since then, the PDC has developed and become a successful monthly clinic/workshop and brings world class drummers/percussionists to Redditch. Click here to see who has been so far.
The PDC also host various other events, such as an annual 3 day drumming camp running in February and the PDC Young Drummer Competition.
During 2020/21 an online presence elevated the PDC to a wider audience bringing followers from across the globe. This marked the launch of various new features including the popular PDChatshow, PDConversations and PDCountdown.
Alongside the events, the PDC has focused on education and providing workshops and masterclasses to schools and organisations to inspired the next generation of musicians.
